Wine Route

Wine RouteLocated in the middle of Canada's finest wine region, Niagara-on-the-Lake is within a short drive of forty wineries-follow the roadside "Wine Route" signs. Newark Manor is less than 10 minutes drive from half a dozen of these wine cellars, including a very unique fruit wine producer. Many wineries offer guided tours and wine-tastings.

Shaw Festival Theatre

Niagara-on-the-Lake is home to the world famous Shaw Festival Theatre. Each year, from April to November, the repertory theatre company presents 10 or more plays by George Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries. For information and tickets see www.shawfest.sympatico.ca.

Walking and Scenic Drives

The town also has two lovely civic parks, which are only minutes from the theatres. Nearby are many recreation trails, parks and conservation areas. Historic Sites
